The Frederick Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of the 66th Police Academy class. On September 8, 2023, at the Frederick Community College JBK Theater, seventeen student officers, representing seven law enforcement agencies, celebrated the successful completion of their training.

Beginning on January 30, 2023, the 66th academy class devoted the past eight months to their development, completing nearly 1400 hours of instruction. The Frederick Police Department's Training Academy, accredited by the Maryland Police Training Commission, not only instructs FPD recruits but also provides training to recruits from law enforcement agencies in neighboring counties.
