UPDATE: The Frederick Police Department is pleased to announce that Detectives have successfully located the two missing individuals, Mariela Lizeth Aguilar-Morales and Joshua Isaac Palacio-Aguilar, who were believed to be in danger. Both Mariela and Joshua have been found safe and well. We would like to thank the community for their vigilance and assistance in sharing information.
The Frederick Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a critical missing mother and son. Mariela Lizeth Aguilar-Morales, a 25-year-old female, is described as being approximately 5’3”, 160 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and a medium build. Joshua Isaac Palacio-Aguilar, a 4-year-old boy, is described as approximately 3’4”-3’6”, 40-45 pounds, with brown eyes, and black hair. Aguilar-Morales and her son was last seen during the evening hours of Sunday, August 13, 2023, in the vicinity of the 1200 block of Aynsely Court in Frederick, Maryland.
Detectives continue to believe Aguilar-Morales and her son are in danger and are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Det. Callers may also remain anonymous and contact the Frederick Police Department’s Crime Tip Line at 301-600-TIPS (8477). Residents in the area of Aynsely Court that have cameras or video surveillance are asked to check their systems and contact Det. Skelly if they observe anything that might be helpful to FPD Detectives in this investigation.
