In light of continued decreasing COVID-19 statistics, the City of Frederick is beginning the process of inviting the public back into Mayor and Board meetings and workshops effective Feb. 23, 2022.
Public meetings and workshops for the Mayor and Board of Aldermen will be open to the public in a limited capacity with masking, distancing and screening-in required.
The City will open the board room up to the first 25 residents who sign up to attend the meeting. The sign-up sheet for workshops and public hearings is available here.
At the link, residents will need to click whether they intend to attend a public hearing, or public workshop. They will then select the date and time of the workshop and hearing they’d like to attend and fill out their contact information.
Residents who wish to attend with family members, will need to register each family member as one attendee. Members of the same household will be able to sit next to each other.
The City of Frederick will still maintain the public comment line at 301-600-1213, as well as its e-comment ability for residents who are not able to attend in-person.
For issues signing up using the online sheet, email Communications Manager Allen Etzler at aetzler@cityoffrederickmd.gov.
