FPD investigating firearms discharge

THE CITY OF FREDERICK (8)

On Sunday, February 6, 2022 at approximately 12:45 am, officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of Coats Bridge Place and Hillcrest Drive for a report of a firearm discharge. 


Upon arriving to the scene, officers and investigators quickly located evidence of a confirmed firearms discharge. Investigators found no evidence and received no reports of any injuries as a result of this incident, although they did locate multiple instances of property damage.


This is an open and active investigation. Anyone who has any information related to the discharge or video surveillance from the area is encouraged to contact Det.
