FPD makes arrest in commercial burglary investigation

THE CITY OF FREDERICK (7)

On Tuesday Jan. 25, 2022, at approximately 10:20 a.m. officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the unit block of E. Church Street at a well-known downtown business establishment for a report of a commercial burglary and destruction of property. 


Throughout the course of the investigation, officers quickly identified a suspect and worked to locate him. On Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, officers made contact with the suspect, identified as Jason Michael Taylor, 37. Officers applied for and received a criminal summons for Mr. Taylor on Friday morning. Taylor is charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, and Destruction of Property.
