Continue to Use Caution; Flood Waters Receding

As the flood waters continue to recede throughout The City of Frederick, please continue to use caution.

Keep an eye out for debris: As flood waters recede, debris may be left behind on roadways and in yards/parks. Please use caution.

Please stay out of flood waters: Avoid contact with floodwater due to potentially elevated levels of contamination associated with raw sewage and other hazardous or toxic substances that may be in the floodwater.

Report any Issues: Please direct questions/issues/damage reports to the Public Works switchboard at 301-600-1440 or to the “Report a Problem” page on the City’s website cityoffrederickmd.gov/518/Report-a-Problem.

Monocacy River: We are continuing to monitor the Monocacy River and potential risk due to cresting.
