On Saturday May 22, 2021 at approximately 1:30 a.m. Officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the 300 Block of N. Market for a report of a shooting. Upon arriving, officers located one victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim, a 36-year-old male, was transported to a local area trauma center for treatment.
At this time, FPD does not have a suspect description.
Units have canvassed the area and FPD is seeking assistance from the public.
