FPD charges suspect in connection to armed carjacking

Arrest Alert

At approximately 9:15 p.m. April 18, 2021, officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the 200 Block of E. Fourth Street for a report of an armed carjacking.

The victim, who was not injured, reported a man robbed her at gunpoint of her keys and left in the victim’s vehicle. 

Frederick Police Department has charged Titus Lamont Diggs Jr. (DOB 3/2/2002) with several crimes in connection to that incident. Diggs was arrested in Baltimore County and is currently being held without bond. 

In addition to charges he is facing in Baltimore County, FPD is charging him with: 

  • Armed robbery
  • Armed Carjacking
  • 1st Degree Assault
  • 2nd Degree Assault
  • Handgun in vehicle
  • Handgun on person
  • Use of a firearm in a felony or crime of violence 

Frederick Police Department thanks Baltimore County Police Department for their assistance in this investigation. This remains an ongoing investigation and FPD is seeking video or tips related to Mr. Diggs. If you have information on this suspect, please contact Det.
