On 11-19-20, at 0701 hours, officers of the Frederick Police Department’s Patrol Division and members of The Frederick County Division of Fire Rescue responded to the storm water management pond near South East St. and Monocacy Blvd. in Frederick City, for a vehicle in the pond.
The investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle was reported missing to the Mount Airy Police Department the night prior (11-18-20). A search of the pond located the missing person deceased. The body was taken to the Office of The Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy and the investigation continues. No foul play is suspected.
