 FPD Makes Arrest for Armed Robbery

 

 

FREDERICK, MD – On 10/18/2020 at approximately 1923 hours Officers from the Frederick Police Department were called to the CVS located at 402 South Jefferson Street for a report of an armed robbery.

 

Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle on Rt. 70, where a pursuit was initiated.  For safety reasons the pursuit was terminated and the suspect vehicle was later located in Baltimore County.  

 

Shortly thereafter one of the suspects was taken into custody by Baltimore County and transported back to Frederick.  The suspect was identified as Lencho Abdalla Usman of the 10000 BLK of Weslake Dr. Bethesda.  He was transported to the FCADC for processing.  

 

Charges:

Armed-Robbery

Theft $1,500-$10,000

Theft under $100

Possession with intent to distribute

2nd Degree Assault

 

The Frederick Police Department would like to thank the Baltimore County Police Department, Baltimore City Police Department, and Maryland State Police for their assistance in this case.  

 

This investigation was a coordinated effort between (please list law enforcement organizations involved in operation) under the Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network (MCIN).  The Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services provides grant funding and strategic support to MCIN member sites to identify, disrupt, and dismantle criminal organizations through inter-agency collaboration and data sharing to make Maryland safer.
