FPD officers and Emergency Medical Technicians from the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services provided treatment at the scene. The Maryland State Police Aviation Division transported the victim by helicopter to a trauma center for further treatment. The victim is expected to survive.
Patrol officers and detectives conducted an investigation. Based on information gathered from several sources, Detective Wolfe applied for criminal charges against Rickey Jamal Wooten, 27, of Frederick, and Jajuan Michael Anderson, 19, of Frederick. A District Court Commissioner issued arrest warrants for both suspects, charging them with the following crimes:
- Assault-First Degree;
- Assault-Second Degree;

Police have not apprehended either of the suspects at this time. We believe the victim and suspects know each other, and this was not a random assault. Attached are photographs of the suspects from previous arrests. Their appearances may have changed.
