On today's date, Frederick Police respond to Elmwood Terrace apartments and find infant and toddler left unattended in an apartment. Father was subsequently arrested when he returned home.
On today's date, Frederick Police responded to Elmwood Terrace apartments in reference to a welfare check. Maintenance personnel entered an apartment to find a six month old infant and two year old toddler left unattended in the apartment. When Officer Hoxie arrived on scene he made contact with maintenance who advised the children have been in the apartment unattended for at lease 20-30 minutes. While talking with witnesses, the father of the children returned home. The father would not produce identification to Officers on scene nor would he cooperative in the investigation. He was arrested and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing. The mother, who had been at work, arrived on scene shortly after the arrest was made and took custody of the children.
Arrestee: Johnson, Emmaunel Paul B/M Date of Birth:03/23/1989, of Elmwood Terrace Apartments
Johnson was charged with the following:
-Child neglect (2 counts)
-Unattended Child (2 counts)
-reckless endangerment (2 counts)
