The Frederick Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for spraying graffiti at multiple locations within the downtown Frederick area.

Frederick Police Investigate Graffiti in Downtown Frederick
On June 8, 2020, during demonstrations, an individual or individuals within a group marching in the street spray painted graffiti on several real estate boards, street signs, and buildings.
Graffiti is a misdemeanor prohibited in the Annotated Code of Maryland, Criminal Law Article 6-301, Malicious Destruction and Related Crimes. Additionally, the City of Frederick Charter and Code, Section 15-43, declares graffiti to be a civil offense.
