Updated Workshop Schedule for 2020 Comprehensive Plan Announced

Planning Commission will hold several virtual public meetings to garner public feedback on the Comprehensive Plan

The City of Frederick Planning Commission has announced an updated workshop schedule to continue the drafting of the 2020 Comprehensive Plan. Previously scheduled workshops were postponed due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the City’s State of Emergency Declaration. The plan, which has been informed by public input from two questionnaires, stakeholder/community meetings, and three special workshops held during January and February, guides how The City of Frederick will develop.  The purpose of the workshops is to discuss the draft plan chapters and accept public comment. All workshops will be held in a virtual public meeting format. For viewing and commenting details, visit
