Parks and Recreation to Launch New and Improved Registration System

Webtrac will replace SportsMan as a more user- and mobile-friendly software.

The City of Frederick’s Parks and Recreation Department will soon launch a new registration system to better serve the Frederick community. Webtrac, the new system, is scheduled to replace SportsMan, the current registration platform, on March 2, 2020, in time for Spring program registrations.

Webtrac is more user-friendly and offers mobile access to allow for quick and easy engagement with Parks and Recreations’ offerings. Webtrac simplifies registrations for classes and camps, offers an easier way to reserve and view available facilities, and is secure and convenient for payments.

“We are very excited to bring Webtrac to Frederick. This will provide our users with an improved experience, one that allows them to engage with our programs 24/7 from any location. We know our users will find the system easy to use and hope they appreciate the options that are now available at their fingertips,” shared Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation, Bob Smith.

To begin using Webtrac, Parks and Recreation is asking all users to “build a household” in the new system. To build your household, go to, and click “Login.” Select “Brand New Patron” and complete the necessary fields. Households can be built before and after the March 2nd launch.

Parks and Recreation will continue to share updates as the launch date nears and thanks the community for their patience during the transition. Please call 301-600-1450 or 301-600-1492 with questions.
