Frederick Police Investigate Pharmacy Robbery
At approximately 5:21 pm on February 5, 2020, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Express Pharmacy in the 300 block of West Patrick Street. From witness interviews and other evidence, detectives believe the suspect is a black male with a light to medium skin tone, and approximately 20 to 30 years old.
The suspect displayed what appeared to be a firearm, and retrieved an undisclosed amount of controlled narcotic medications from behind the counter. Witnesses last saw the suspect on foot in the area of West Patrick Street and College Avenue. Officers searched the area thoroughly on foot and with a police canine, but were unable to locate the suspect.
