Frederick Police Investigate Bank Robbery
FREDERICK, MD - Today at approximately 4:39 pm officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the M&T Bank located at 929 West 7th Street for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, they were informed by witnesses that the suspect entered the bank and spoke to the teller. After a short time, the male left the bank with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. The suspect appeared to have arrived and left on foot.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6'1 wearing a blue & white checkered shirt with a blue hooded sweatshirt underneath and dark-colored pants.
A perimeter was set up and the area was searched by Patrol Officers, with no suspects located. No weapon was displayed and no one was injured during this incident.
