FREDERICK POLICE INVESTIGATE FATAL COLLISION
FREDERICK, MD – Officers from the Frederick Police Department – Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating a fatal vehicle collision that occurred last night.
On Tuesday, September 10, at approximately 5:40 pm, Officers and Fire Rescue personnel responded to the area of Dogwood Drive and Stratford Way for the report of a collision between a passenger car and a moped. The driver of the moped, Vernon Jackson Jr. age 53 of Frederick, MD, was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the passenger car, a 78-year-old male, was not injured.
