Traffic Disruption Notice - Thursday, August 29
Monocacy Boulevard at Riverbend Way
Date: Thursday, August 29 (Weather Dependent)
Time: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Reason: The City of Frederick, Department of Public Works will be installing a dedicated left turn signal (and subsequently a left turn lane in approximately 4-6 weeks) on Monocacy Blvd. to Riverbend Way on Thursday, August 29, from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Frederick Police Department Officers will be directing traffic at Monocacy Blvd. and Riverbend Way as efficiently as possible. Monocacy Blvd. will still be open, but the Shops at Monocacy (Giant grocery store) will not be accessible from Monocacy Blvd., access can be made from Laurel Wood Way or Route 26 onto Kingfisher Drive.
Expect: Traffic congestion in and around the area as well as police officers directing traffic.
