Officers of the Frederick Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit made an arrest for possession of marijuana and powder cocaine.
On 05/31/2012, at approximately 9:48 pm, Officers of the Frederick Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Wilson Place for failing to drive right of the center line. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Noah Grandt Sheppard. During the course of the traffic stop officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Sheppard was placed under arrest and searched. During the search of Sheppard, officers discovered suspected marijuana on his person. Suspected powder cocaine was also found within the vehicle.
Sheppard was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing. He was charged with Possession of Powder Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana.
