FPD Requests Publics Assistance Identifying Theft & Fraud Suspect
FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick Police Department is asking for the publics help in identifying a person suspected of stealing a wallet and then using the credit cards to make approximately $6500 in purchases. The victim was shopping at the Walmart at 2421 Monocacy Blvd., on Friday, July 5, 2019, between 10:15 – 11:20 am, when she noticed her wallet missing from her purse. The suspect left the Walmart and proceeded to make purchases using the victim's credit card at the following retail establishments, all on July 5, 2019.

The suspect was wearing a Walmart vest but is not believed to be an employee at this time.
