Officers Make Arrests for Assault and Theft
FREDERICK, MD - On Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at approximately 4:27 pm, Frederick Police received a call regarding a theft at a local retail business, located in the 1300 block of West Patrick Street. The complainant said that a female and a male were in the store and the male handed items to the female and she put them in her bag. As the male and female left the store, an employee of the store approached the suspects and the male pushed the employee. The male pulled out a pocket knife, threatened the employee, and then both suspects got into a vehicle and left the area.
Officers arrived on scene and were provided a detailed description of both suspects as well as the vehicle they were driving. At approximately 5:59 pm, Officer Nicole Hamilton was conducting patrol checks in the area of Harlan Way, Frederick, MD and observed the vehicle in question. Officer Hamilton conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested Jessica Moore, age 37 of Frederick and Zaki Love, age 50 of Frederick in connection with the assault and theft.
