Frederick Police Respond to Maryland School for the Deaf for Online Threat
FREDERICK, MD – On today date at approximately 8:13 am, the Frederick Police Department responded to Maryland School for the Deaf for two threats that were posted on social media. Students at the school reached out to the school administration and notified them of the threats. The Frederick Police Department and the Maryland State Police conducted interviews and did a protective sweep of the facility. There was nothing found and further investigation revealed that the messages came from outside the United States.
