The Frederick Police Department arrested 3 suspects for an armed robbery that occurred on the evening of Saturday, January 5th, in the 1000 block of West Patrick Street in Frederick. Initial officers responding to the scene contacted the victim in the parking lot of a gas station in that area, and were told that he had been robbed by the below listed suspects at knifepoint just a few minutes ago. He also described a wooden object, similar to a baseball bat, which one of the suspects also used to threaten him. Evidence collected from the scene and surrounding areas allowed investigators to quickly identify the suspects and pass their information on to area law enforcement, including a description of the vehicle the suspects used to leave the scene.
A short time later, deputies from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office located the suspect vehicle at another gas station in the 5000 block of Urbana Pike in Frederick County. The 3 suspects were arrested at that time, and charged with the below listed charges.
This case remains open pending additional follow-up at this time.
