The Frederick Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday 12/23/18 in the 1800 block of Rosemont Avenue. At approximately 0030 hours on Sunday, officers responded to a local hospital after a patient reported being stabbed in the neck during an altercation outside a bar in the 1800 block of Rosemont. Officers responded to the scene and located evidence of an assault.
The investigation is ongoing at this time, as detectives are still canvassing for witnesses and evidence. The victim’s injuries are not life threatening. The suspect is described as a white male in his thirties, wearing dark clothing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Detective Doug Ames at the number listed below.
