Frederick Police Arrest Man on Numerous Charges (2018-105239)
FREDERICK, MD – On December 20, 2018, at approximately 8:10 pm, members of the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of Heathfield Drive, Frederick, Maryland in reference to a male subject looking into vehicle windows, pulling door handles and entering into vehicles. Upon arrival, officers were able to locate Ladell Henson in the area. Mr. Henson was positively identified as the suspect. Mr. Henson had several items in his possession that did not belong to him.
Upon placing Mr. Henson under arrest he became disorderly and combative and assaulted an FPD Officer. Upon being placed in the back of the police car, Henson began to kick the interior of the patrol car breaking a panel. Mr. Henson was transported to Frederick County Adult Detention Center and will be charged with: Assault, 2nd- Degree on Law Enforcement Officer, Destruction of Property – Motor Vehicle, Disorderly Conduct, and Rogue and Vagabond.
The Department would like to thank the resident for being vigilant and calling police when they saw suspicious activity. As a general reminder, please lock your vehicle doors and remove all valuables from within.
