Frederick Police Respond to Bomb Threats
FREDERICK, MD – At 1356 hours on December 13, 2018, the Frederick Police Department (FPD) received a report of a bomb threat that was e-mailed to a location in the 100 block of South East Street. At 1400 hours and 1402 hours, FPD received two more reports of bomb threats that were sent by e-mail. The additional locations are office buildings in the first block and 100 block of West Patrick Street. Officers arrived at all locations and determined the locations to be safe.
These bomb threats appear to be related to other bomb threats being reported throughout the country. FPD Detectives will work with our Federal partners for investigation of these local bomb threats.
