Frederick Police make arrest for discharge
FREDERICK,
MD – On 11/19/18 at approximately 1409 hours, members of the Frederick Police
Department were notified of a discharge that the FCSO was working in the
neighborhood of Waterside. Upon our
arrival to the area, we were notified that the FCSO was detaining a suspect. We were also notified that a victim had made
contact with the FCSO and advised the incident actually occurred in the area
between Main Farm and Dearbought communities, inside the City of Frederick.
At that time,
Detectives began to canvass the area for witnesses and evidence. The suspect, later identified as Maiben, was
transported back to FPD HQ for questioning.
He was later transported to the FCADC and is currently being held
without bond.
At this time,
we are looking into the similarities of this incident and the incident that
occurred in Lucas Village on 11/18. At
this time, we have no concrete evidence that leads us to believe the incidents
are related.
