FREDERICK, MD – On 11/19/18 at approximately 1409 hours, members of the Frederick Police Department were notified of a discharge that the FCSO was working in the neighborhood of Waterside.  Upon our arrival to the area, we were notified that the FCSO was detaining a suspect.  We were also notified that a victim had made contact with the FCSO and advised the incident actually occurred in the area between Main Farm and Dearbought communities, inside the City of Frederick.

At that time, Detectives began to canvass the area for witnesses and evidence.  The suspect, later identified as Maiben, was transported back to FPD HQ for questioning.  He was later transported to the FCADC and is currently being held without bond.
