On 11/06/2018 a search and seizure warrant was completed at a residence on Huntwood Court in Frederick Maryland by members of the Frederick Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit, the Maryland State Police and the Frederick County Sheriff Office pursuant to a drug investigation that took place over the month of October 2018. Detectives determined that the suspect Charles Moon was involved in drug transactions involving heroin and fentanyl to Frederick County residents. Upon securing the residence quantities of suspected heroin and fentanyl were located inside along with paraphernalia associated with packaging drugs for sale.
Moon was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for an appearance before the District Court Commissioner. The Frederick Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit is aggressively targeting drug dealers who knowingly sell Opioids including heroin and fentanyl to users.
