Checkpoints conducted by the Frederick Police Department are part of the Toward Zero Deaths campaign and are funded by a grant from the Maryland Department of Transportation. During this checkpoint the Department had two representatives from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) as well as assistance from the Maryland State Chemical Test and Alcohol Unit. As always the Department appreciates these organizations support.
