Frederick Police Make Arrests in Strong-Arm Robbery
FREDERICK, MD
At 1304 hours on June 8, 2018, Officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of Stoney Creek Road and Waterside Drive for the report of a strong-arm robbery that had just occurred. The 19-year-old male victim told officers that he was in the area to meet a person known to him for the purpose of purchasing marijuana. The person known to the victim arrived with three other men. The four suspects assaulted and robbed the victim of his wallet and cash. The victim provided officers with information about the known suspect, as well as a description of the vehicle in which the suspects drove out of the area. A lookout was broadcast to officers.
A Deputy with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle in Walkersville. The following occupants of the vehicle were detained and transported to the Frederick Police Department and were interviewed by Detectives:
- Harmon Matthew Pritchard, 22, of Gaithersburg (picture attached to initial press release);
- Juwan Matthew Favors, 20, of Frederick;
- Robert Brent Higgins, 22, of Frederick; and
- Zachary Austin Sullivan, 20, of Hagerstown.
As a result of the investigation, the four men listed above were each charged with:
- 2nd Degree Assault;
- Robbery;
- Theft $100 to under $1500.
