Frederick Police to Host Law Enforcement Torch Run
FREDERICK, MD – On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, the Frederick Police Department will be hosting the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Maryland. The run will begin at 11:30 am at the Frederick County Courthouse, 100 West Patrick Street. Participants will run or walk the 1 mile along Carroll Creek and the event will conclude at the Carroll Creek Amphitheatre with food and drinks.

Since its inception in 1986, the Maryland Law Enforcement Torch Run has raised more than $30 million for Special Olympics Maryland in support of its mission to provide quality sports training and competition to Maryland’s children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
