On 05/03/2018 at approximately 1205 hours, officers with the Frederick Police Department responded to the 200 block of Bucheimer Road for an assault in progress.

Frederick Police Investigate an Assault
FREDERICK, MD – On 05/03/2018 at approximately 1205 hours, officers with the Frederick Police Department responded to the 200 block of Bucheimer Road for an assault in progress. Upon arrival, Officers discovered that the suspect left the scene in an unknown direction. The victim informed Officer Hess he had an argument with the suspect, who is known to him and was identified as Onella Namara St. Hilaire. The victim advised St. Hilaire attacked him with a metal pole and struck him multiple times. The victim then advised St. Hilaire got into a passenger vehicle and attempted to strike him multiple times. After the failed attempts to hit the victim with the vehicle St. Hilaire then got out of the vehicle and attempted to strike the victim with her closed fist. The victim and St. Hilaire were separated by witnesses and then she left the area. Officers responded to St. Hilaire’s residence and located her outside. Officer Hess responded and asked St. Hilaire for her name. Once Officer Hess confirmed her identity he attempted to place St. Hilaire under arrest. St. Hilaire resisted arrest efforts initially and after a brief struggle she was placed in custody without further incident. St. Hilaire was charged with the following charges:
1st degree Assault
2nd degree Assault
Resisting Arrest
Reckless Endangerment
Destruction of Property
