Frederick Police Charge Suspect in Series of Graffiti Incidents
FREDERICK, MD – Frederick Police have charged an individual with a series of graffiti incidents concentrated mainly in the downtown area. The incidents occurred between January 15 and April 10, 2018, where numerous structures were “tagged” with spray paint and markers.
On April 10, 2018, police filed for charges against Holland Yost Weinberg, age 26, with 28 counts of destruction of property under $1,000 and 1 count Malicious Destruction of Property Scheme over $1,000.
The Department would like to thank the community for the tips and videos received which helped identify the suspect. We would also like to commend the Directed Patrol Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, Crime Analysts, and Frederick County Sheriff’s Office for their diligence in this case.
