Fredericktown Mall Associates and DLC Management Makes Donation to the Golden Mile Alliance

Frederick, MD – DLC Management Corp, on behalf of the Fredericktowne Mall Associates, recently made a Foundation Sponsorship donation of $500 to the Golden Mile Alliance. The donation was presented to the Golden Mile Alliance Board at their meeting on April meeting. Presenting on behalf of DLC Management/Fredericktown Mall was Dave Severn, GMA Board member and attorney with Severn O’Conner and Kresslein. Mr. Severn is also legal counsel to the Fredericktown Mall Associates/DLC Management.

“On behalf of the owner Fredericktowne Mall Associates, LLC, Steve Ifshin, Chairman of DLC Management Corp., the Development Manager for the owner, is making this contribution in support of the efforts and goal of the Golden Mile Alliance to encourage and help foster re-development and commercial revitalization of the Golden Mile,” state Mr. Severn. “(We) are proud to be a member of the Golden Mile Alliance Board of Directors, and sincerely hope that the commercial redevelopment of the mall property can be the first step toward achieving that goal.”

The Golden Mile Alliance is offering Foundation Sponsorships through June 30, 2012. With a minimum donation of $500, donors will be part of an ongoing recognition as the founding donors of the Golden Mile Alliance. To date, Foundation Sponsors include The City of Frederick, My Bank 1st United Bank and Trust, Hekemian Real Estate, and Fredericktown Mall/DLC Management.

The Golden Mile Alliance is a grassroots community organization dedicated to promoting and fostering a vibrant and safe Golden Mile gateway community through business, neighborhood, and economic development activities. The GMA Board of Directors meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 7:00-8:30pm at the Hillcrest Community Center.
