Frederick Police Investigate Attempted Bank
Robbery
FREDERICK,
MD – On 03/12/18 at approx. 1438hrs FPD officers responded to the Sandy Spring
Bank, located at 1003 W Patrick Street for a report of a bank alarm. Upon arrival, Patrol Officers were informed
that this was an actual attempted bank robbery.
The suspect
entered the bank, approached the teller and demanded money. The teller did not give the suspect any money
and the suspect fled on foot. The
suspect did not brandish a weapon, and no one was injured.
The suspect
is described as;
· Black/ Male
· 5’07” – 5’10”
· Dressing in all black clothing
This
