Frederick Man Charged in Domestic Assault (CIS)

On 11/18/2017 at approximately 0238 hours, Frederick Police Officers responded to the 400 block of West South Street for a Domestic Assault. Officers arrived and located the victim suffering from several lacerations to her head, neck, arms and torso. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and later released. Detective Matthew Irons was later assigned as the lead investigator regarding the assault. Through the subsequent investigation, Detective Irons was able to identify the suspect in this case as Spencer Everett Goodman. The investigation revealed Goodman was involved in a verbal argument with the victim that turned physical in their apartment.
