On 11/19/2017 at approximately 1920 hours, the Frederick Police Department responded to a strong-armed robbery at the Frederick Fudge and Ice Cream Company in the 200 block of East Church Street. Detective Loftis was later assigned as the lead investigator for this incident.
Officers determined the adult male suspect entered the store and approached the clerk. The suspect then grabbed the clerk while demanding money from the register. Suspect then took the money and exited the business in an unknown direction on foot. The victim was not harmed in the incident.
At this time, the suspect is described only as an adult male, approximately 6’0” in height, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
