At 12:05 a.m. Frederick Police responded to a reported armed robbery in the 1300 block of North East St.
Upon arrival of police they found the victim who had been severely beaten during an apparent home-invasion robbery. Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was acquainted with at least one of his assailants. The victim was flown to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore by MSP helicopter and treated for facial fractures and multiple facial lacerations.
