Frederick, MD.-On 08/04/2017 at approximately 9:17 pm, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1st Blk of Waverly Drive for a personal injury motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers immediately found three vehicles were involved and all had either heavy front or rear end damage. In addition, a juvenile passenger in one vehicle and driver to another sustained injuries. Luckily, their injuries were not life threatening. However, both were transported to an area hospital for further treatment. Since this is an on-going investigation, the names of all involved are not being released at this time.
This section of Waverly Drive was shut down for approximately 45 minutes. Once the damaged vehicles were removed, the roadway was opened back up for normal vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
