Bouncer on N. Market Street flagged down officers in reference to a man who had just pulled out a handgun in front of Olde Town Tavern...
On 07/27/17 at approximately 0215 hours Frederick police officers began searching for an armed male described to them by a bouncer on N. Market Street. The subject had been on the sidewalk near a group of patrons that were leaving the bar. The subject had been disorderly, urinated on the sidewalk, and also attempted to assault the bouncer. After he started to walk away, the subject came back to the area of Olde Town Tavern. He would later be identified as Wade Francis Aloi of the 12000 block of Hanford Ct in Monrovia. While in front of the business the male pulled a out a loaded handgun and proceeded to rack the slide back. As patrons realized what was happening, the male left the area toward East St. He was located by officers in the 200 block of N. East St and the handgun was subsequently found on his person. He was extremely uncooperative and highly intoxicated. The weapon was seized and he was taken to Frederick County Central Booking.
