On 6/10/17 at approximately 2238 hours, officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to a 911 call in the 1400 Block of Key Parkway and found a female victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim, who is not being identified at this time, was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Her injuries are considered serious, but not life-threatening.
During the subsequent investigation, responding Patrol officers and Detectives identified Rochelle Tamika Wiggins as the suspect in the assault. Wiggins was contacted at her residence a short time later and taken into custody. Investigators executed a search and seizure warrant on Wiggins’s residence and located additional evidence of the assault. Wiggins was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and charged with the below listed offenses.
