Two Frederick Police officers on foot patrol in Mullinix Park arrest a Frederick man for disorderly conduct and several other charges.
On 06/07/2017 Frederick Police officers were doing foot patrol in Mullinix Park of S. Bentz Street. They came upon the suspect, who was intentionally being extremely loud and screaming. The officers gave the suspect several warnings and ample time to quiet down or leave the area. The subject continued to be loud and cause a scene, so the officers went to place the subject under arrest. The subject began fighting with the two officers, assaulting both of them. After requests for assistance, the suspect was quickly taken into custody. The suspect was identified as Nathaniel Hardy Small of no fixed address. Small was taken to a local hospital to get checked out prior to being taken to the Frederick County Detention Center.
