FPD Detectives arrest 2 for Attempted Murder
FREDERICK, MD – On 02/10/2017 at approximately 1654 hours members of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 100Blk of Key Pkwy in reference to a fight that was in progress. Upon arrival they met with a juvenile victim that had been assaulted by 2 males. It was reported that weapons were used in the assault, however the victim was not injured as a result of the use of these weapons.
Through the course of the investigation, Det. Garcia was able to identify the 2 males that committed the assault (listed below). Also during the course of the investigation it was discovered that both suspects were active members of MS-13. On 2/23/17 an indictment was issued by the Grand Jury for the arrest of both individuals. On 03/01/2017, in conjunction with Federal partners Det. Garcia was able to obtain a Search and Seizure Warrant for the apartment that the two suspects lived in.
Due to the seriousness of the crime the Frederick Police Special Response Team executed the Search Warrant on an apartment in the 1400Blk of Key Pkwy. The suspects were taken into custody by Detectives from the Street Crimes Team, and Criminal Investigations Section.
At this time both suspects are at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center, and have been charged as adults. They are;
