FEW SPACES REMAIN FOR FPD COMMUNITY CRIME SUMMIT
FREDERICK, MD - The Frederick Police Department along with the Neighborhood Advisory Councils (NACs) will be hosting the 2nd Annual Community Crime Summit on Saturday, March 11th. The Summit will be from 8 am to noon and will be held at the FPD Training Facility located at 6424 Plant Road. The Crime Summit is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
From 8:15-8:45 am, attendees will learn about the department’s body worn camera program and after that will participate in three breakout sessions. There are a variety of topics to choose from for the breakout sessions. These include:
Drugs/Heroin
Identity Theft
Gang Awareness
Human Trafficking
FPD Programs & Services
Personal & Neighborhood Safety
“I encourage our residents and business owners to attend our 2nd Annual Community Crime Summit and participate by engaging in discussions that focus on the safety of the individual, families, neighborhoods and your city,” said Chief Ed Hargis.
