Frederick, MD- On 02/17/17 Cpl Gunder with the Frederick Police Department was on a patrol check of a commercial business, in the unit block of Monocacy Blvd, at approximately 8:17pm. Cpl Gunder observed a suspicious male attempting to conceal himself behind a light pole in the parking lot of the business. Cpl Gunder stopped to contact the male, later identified as David Germaine Wilson of the 500 Block of Carrollton Dr in Frederick, and observed him appearing to drop an item on the ground. Upon contacting Wilson, Cpl Gunder could detect a strong odor of PCP emitting from Wilson's person. Additional officers arrived and Cpl Gunder checked the area where he observed Wilson attempting to conceal himself. Cpl Gunder located a quantity of suspected Phencyclidine(PCP) and synthetic marijuana (Spice) where he observed Wilson attempting to discard the item. Wilson was placed under arrest. Wilson was later transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for further processing. At the time of this press release Wilson was still being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
