On 1/26/17 the Frederick Police Department
Drug Enforcement Unit, with assistance from the Frederick County Sherriff’s
Office, Maryland State Police and the Department of Homeland Security, executed
two Search and Seizure warrants as a result of an investigation into heroin
distribution.
In December 2016 Investigators received information that
Clarence Thieverage was selling heroin, along with his girlfriend, Emma Mathews
in and around the Frederick area. Several controlled buys of heroin were made
from Thieverage and Mathews leading to the search warrants which were served at the following locations:

Frederick, MD 21701
6320B Mountaindale Rd
Thurmont, MD 21788
Thieverage and Mathews were taken into custody
without incident and transported to Central Booking for their appearance before
a District Court Commissioner where they were ordered held without bond.
They are charged as follows:
