Frederick Police responded to a large fight and shots fired incident in the unit block of Hillcrest Dr. When they arrived, officers found a victim who had been shot, suffering non-life threatening injuries.
On 12/29/16 at approximately 1430 hours, officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to a shooting incident near a shopping center on Hillcrest Drive. Arriving officers found a male subject had been shot and had non-life threatening injuries. The victim was transported to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown for treatment. Reports from witnesses nearby at the time of the incident indicated the shooting was related to a large fight involving several individuals. The investigation is on-going at this time.
