A Frederick woman was charged Friday morning with possession of PCP with the intent to distribute
On May 20, 2016 at approximately 1:54 AM Frederick Police Officers responded to the 100 Block of Key Parkway for a reported discharge of firearm.
Officers investigated the complaint and checked the area. No evidence of a shooting or shots being fired was located. While on scene investigating the original complaint, Officer Charles Lawson came in contact with a female suspect who was walking in the parking lot. This suspect was identified to be Latonya Dykes. Officer Lawson smelled a strong odor of Phencyclidine (PCP) coming from Dykes. Dykes was arrested and a subsequent search yielded a quantity of PCP consistent with street level distribution.
As a result of this investigation Dykes was arrested and charged with the below charges. Dykes was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for additional processing.
