The Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team arrested a Frederick man after seizing marijuana, Xanax and LSD
On 05-11-2016, officers of the Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Baughman’s Lane and W Patrick Street, in Frederick City.
During the investigation, there came a time when a traffic violation was observed and the vehicle was subsequently stopped. Based on the officers’ initial observations, a canine sniff was conducted on the vehicle with a positive alert for a controlled dangerous substance (CDS). The driver was placed under arrest based on the positive alert and identified as, Simon Maxwell Eason.
During a search of the vehicle Eason was driving, the following narcotics and equipment were recovered:
- 3 glass jars containing marijuana
- 2 jars of THC concentrate
- 119 Xanax pills
- 3 Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) tabs
- Digital scale
Eason was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
